No matter how many times I click „Always keep on this device“ for a folder, it always keeps the cloud icon next to it and the files are consistently not present locally. They need to be downloaded first, their content is not indexed and I cannot QuickLook them. It is extremely buggy and sloppy.
Even the oft-maligned iCloud Drive has an option to turn this behavior off and to keep all files locally.
Even if you want to make this new “experience” default, removing the option to switch to keeping all files local is inexcusable.
I have moved all of my personal documents and files to iCloud at this point, but I have no such choice for work documents, we use OneDrive company-wide. I need to have my work documents available locally and backed up properly.
This new OneDrive update is literally hindering my productivity and puts my work documents at risk. Will you take responsibility for that?
