OneDrive v22.002 on macOS v12.2 - Apologies in advance as I'm a huge MS fan, BUT - bloody hell.!!!!!!! this is the WORST software update I have EVER SEEN, just a total bloody disgrace. I've used OneDrive since SkyDrive beta was first available in 1997 when my company was a MS Gold Partner, recently have spent the last 10yrs in Asia and India as Project Director for HCL and Wipro doing major tier 1 cloud and software development, never have I seen any major software that has been implemented so badly, frankly offline files are now totally screwed, file, folder and subfolder selection is now a disaster - buggy and unreliable, MS has TAKEN AWAY ALL CONTROL of my files ON MY DEVICES and put everything online totally forgetting many users are now working remotely NOT on multi GB fibre, I'm a HEAVY user, and right now I've lost over 800Gb and 650k files from three macOS devices that will take at least 2mths and $1,000 to re-download on my (fast) 1Tb/mth 4G connection, who the hell is doing QA for OneDrive frankly should be fired, this is an appalling mess - once it hopefully quickly gets sorted I have at last 50 suggestions of improvements including touch zoomable (like Apple Photos) file thumbnail previews (DOC XLS PDF PIC's etc), user profiles stored in cloud and able to be syncd to multiple devices, must better plist/group policy controls, better search, filter and sorting, archiving (but with END-USER control), search by filename/file contents, consistent on demand/offline selection boxes across ALL DEVICES. It really needs some serious love, planning and work done, there are frankly so many bugs in this product lineup (iOS/macOS AND Windows) - and frankly the current roadmap doesn't excite me, this product is THE MOST IMPORTANT of any of the O365 products and has had little love - MS please allocate the original Word, Excel or Outlook teams and MORE RESOURCES to get it back into shape.!!!!!! Happy to discuss and offer suggestions, I've seen developments like this from all sides . . .
