No notice, no warning, nothing. I opened my Finder to discover the 'Favorites' I added pointing to my files in OneDrive folders were ALL GONE! <PanicMode>On</PanicMode>.
Being offline, I could NOT open any files. Odd because I had my ENTIRE OneDrive root folder set to 'Always Keep On This Device'!! Files were 'symlinked' but NOT in the cache either. They were simply gone from my laptop. That's just plain bad/stupid/ignorant development!!
Not wanting to download ALL 23GB of files from my online version of OneDrive. I ended up copying them back using TimeMachine (THANK YOU APPLE!!!, TimeMachine is a GODSEND!!)
Ankita Kirti This is NOT the way to impress your users. No notice, no warning, just *poof* and all my files were GONE! I've removed OneDrive entirely....I will NOT be using it ever again. I cannot afford to be without files and this method of surprising/scaring your users is completely disastrous.
