Was this feature removed?  Over the past couple days, a change has been apparently rolling out and we've watched these buttons disappear for our users across SharePoint sites and OneDrive.  All of our users are licensed accounts.

    ShawnR​ - did you get this resolved? The Merge & Split buttons have disappeared from OneDrive and SharePoint in our tenant.

      When I looked this morning, the Merge & Split buttons are again available in a couple SharePoint sites of ours, but I haven't seen them reappear in OneDrive.  It's possible another update is rolling out.

      We did not.  I've been looking for confirmation if it was purposefully removed or others calling it out, but so far, you're the only confirmation that other tenants are experiencing this as well.
