Honestly, I don't mind the changes.
I can see why extra filtration options for meetings and person could be beneficial (although the not being able to track recurring meetings would want to be sorted sooner rather than later, as most of my meetings anyway are recurring.)
One thing I raised a ticket about was the ability to turn off Coloured Folders, as some document libraries allow contributor access to hundreds of people, and we don't really want them having the option to change the folders colours as it could cause confusion down the line, especially as staff frequently transfer across departments in our organisation. We were told there was no way to turn this off so are left to ask people not to recolour folders, and monitor any changes then, which is a bit of an unnecessary drain on IT resources.
I like the idea of users recolouring their folders in OneDrive as that is used for personal files but if folders start changing colour in SharePoint, I know the Help Desk will start receiving tickets asking why.
Also like the additional search boxes in OneDrive, looks like they can be quite useful in cases where lots of files have been shared with you, or you want to filter your recent files.
