The Microsoft 365 Community Conference is always a special event for the OneDrive team. Last year, we introduced the third generation of OneDrive, which is now enhancing the way customers find, organize and work with their files. This year, we’re looking forward to an engaging conference where we’ll discuss the latest AI advancements that are set to further streamline and enrich your file interactions.

This year, we're excited to showcase and demo what’s next for our customers, including:

• Copilot in OneDrive – your AI file management assistant.
• The complete UI refresh from top to bottom, across Web and mobile.
• The full OneDrive experience and capabilities in Teams, Outlook, Microsoft365.com, and Windows File Explorer.
• Fast, reliable, and secure file synchronization across devices and platforms.
• A new set of API’s and SDK’s that enable developers to fully integrate OneDrive into applications and workflows with features like delta query, change notifications, and file handlers.

Search for files with natural language, ask open-ended questions or get a file summary with Copilot in OneDrive.

We look forward to seeing you and hearing all about how you and your organization are using OneDrive. From the latest features to the critical fundamentals, we're excited to share and learn how we can continue to deliver for you.

Considering the Home (personal version) user interfaces:

It would also be  nice if my Laptop ( I7, SSD &  8GB RAM) did not go into black screen mode as if it was powered down, inciting me to press the power button

Hopefully the new version of the App will allow the installing user to select,

I want to select the storage "folders" to be added to the MFT on this PC before it adds every file and folder I can access on the OneDrive store
all 6TB of the Family set I am "organiser" for !

And allow me to select "NO LINK" before the App creates links to all the 6TB of files, including those of famiily members who have "SYNC'd"  their entire system

I ask because they get very upset when my deletion of the folder from my \Users\id\OneDrive  folder, and the App echoes that to their storage, and then OneDrive SYNCS that deletion to their PC's hard drive !

Maybe even allow filenames in the browser view of the storage to be scrolled - or even better the display column to be adjusted to be an appropriate width, with a WRAP option.
