Announcements for files experiences in Microsoft 365 at Microsoft Ignite

All that news is impressive... if they will work as defined, a thing I seriously doubt. 

I want you to make a test: put 5 million mixed documents, PDF, DOC, OneNote, plain texts, MD, and then do a search knowing what the result must be. But don't do it in a test environment. Do it in a live account, with two Windows and two Macs in sync, plus one phone and two iPads or similar configuration. Then do a search on each device. Please, do it. Really, do it. When it worked as expected, then and only then, start implementing the fancy things. 

And then, if that works well, then, take this message as a legal authorization to enter my account and repeat the tests with my files and determine why a simple search always returns incomplete or even wrong results. 

Please, first make work the basic things, and then you can do the fancy things and awe the world.
