Re: Windows App to replace Remote Desktop app for Windows

Hello Hilary,

I just stumbled across something interesting:
The Microsoft Windows App comes with a license that says it’s only for personal, non-commercial use – unless you have a separate agreement.

That makes me wonder:

• How is this app supposed to be used in a corporate environment?
• As a regulated company in Germany, we actually read license terms (and have to enforce them). How do we get an official approval for business use?
• And what enterprise-ready alternative does Microsoft recommend instead?

Curious if anyone here has gone through this already – or if Microsoft can shed some light.

I’m looking forward to feedback and insights from the community – and hopefully from Microsoft directly.
