Microsoft is looking for Power Automate Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Developers to take our new beta exam. RPA developers automate time-consuming and repetitive tasks by using Microsoft Power Automate. They review solution requirements, create process documentation, design, develop, troubleshoot, and evaluate solutions. They support the deployment of solutions to production environments.

These developers also work with business stakeholders to improve and automate business workflows. They collaborate with administrators to deploy solutions to production environments and support solutions.

If this is your skill set, we have a new certification for you. The Microsoft Certified: Power Automate Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Developer, Associate certification validates your expertise in this area and offers you the opportunity to prove your skills. To earn this certification, pass PL-500: Microsoft Power Automate Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Developer exam (currently in beta).

Is this the right certification for you?

This certification could be a great fit if you have significant experience with JSON, cloud flows/desktop flows, integrating solutions with REST/SOAP services, analyzing data by using Microsoft Excel, VBScript, Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), HTML, JavaScript, one or more programming languages, and the Microsoft Power Platform suite of tools (AI Builder, Power Apps, Microsoft Dataverse, and Power Virtual Agents).

Ready to prove your skills?

Take advantage of the discounted beta exam offer. The first 300 people who take Exam PL-500 (beta) on or before May 10, 2022, can get 80 percent off market price!

To receive the discount, when you register for the exam and are prompted for payment, use code PL500SUN. This is not a private access code. The seats are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. As noted, you must take the exam on or before May 10, 2022. Please note that this beta exam is not available in Turkey, Pakistan, India, or China.

Get ready to take Exam PL-500 (beta):

Did you know that you can take any role-based exam online? Online delivered exams—taken from your home or office—can be less hassle, less stress, and even less worry than traveling to a test center—especially if you’re adequately prepared for what to expect. To find out more, check out my blog post Online proctored exams: What to expect and how to prepare.

The rescore process starts on the day an exam goes live, and final scores for beta exams are released approximately 10 days after that. For details on the timing of beta exam rescoring and results, read my post Creating high-quality exams: The path from beta to live. For more information, follow me on Twitter (@libertymunson).

Hi, I have schedule exam but it is not visible on Pearson VUE dashboard or in my Partner center profile.

Also, didn't get any email as a confirmation. Is there any delays with that or maybe something has happened  in that moment and I should try again?

    Thanks in advance!

Thanks, rootsmusic! Already finished. Yes, the main accent is on desktop flows but cloud Power Automate also present (in matter of junction with desktop platform). Big part of questions relate to solution architecture and DLP - however as it mentioned in skill outline. Still exam is in beta so the program can be adjusted.

Good luck dradomtsev!  I haven't tried Power Automate yet.  This exam's title specifies that it's for "Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Developers".  Does that mean it's limited to testing your knowledge of Power Automate's https://powerautomate.microsoft.com/en-us/robotic-process-automation/?  Thanks.
