Thanks for the reply but it's a moot point. When my boss bluntly tells me "get more certs" I kind of have to take that seriously since every time we talk he reminds of how "he" fought to get me on the team when no one else wanted me to be on it. So yah, I need more certs. Remember not all employers do things the same. In my case I work for a company that holds a major DoD contract. Government has minimum requirements surrounding certifications to hold certain positions as it is. And before you say 'well you shouldn't work on a government contract; why aren't you working in the private sector?', my response is because working this contract has been the most secure one I've had in my entire 21 year IT career. I've had 3 positions but have been with this contract for going on 8 years now. It's the longest I have been employed anywhere! In the private sector I was lucky to make it 1 - 1.5 years before getting laid off due to financial cut backs or "restructuring", "mergers" etc. One major problem with that is that was never long enough to actually make any progress and move up in position. Every time I got laid off I had to find and accept the first job that I was offered just to keep myself fed and a roof over my house.
With regards to the MS-203 cert, I've put it behind me and have already decided to start working towards the MD-102 and the the MS-102.
