That is good news.
It would be great if the new version of Autopilot worked more reliably when installing applications. Today it is not possible to install Office, Win32 Apps and Store Apps in parallel without the ESP crashing.
It would be perfect if the retry time for the application installation after the ESP could also be set. Today, this retry is usually missing completely and applications are not installed for a long time. Unfortunately, MS Cases did not provide a solution.
MECM is probably so popular today because it is possible to find solutions for bugs and missing functions yourself: There are interaction options via WMI. It's transparent. It would be great if Microsoft would also provide this option for the Intune Management Extension - today there is no API on the client that can be used to interact with the Management Extension - the whole thing is far too sluggish via Graph.
I hope that Microsoft will achieve a good quality of the new solution. Quality is important for success.
