Remote help is finally a native embedded solution from Microsoft Endpoint Manager which provides the capability to the helper (servicedesk or administrator) to activate elevated permission which is not possible in Quick Assist or Teams that are often used. However, Remote help is not that perfect to be honest. If you, as a helper, require to activate elevated permissions, the session must be started as "Take Full Control". The impact of "Take Full Control" is clearly explained. When session ends, the sharer will be signed out immediately! As I mentioned earlier, this is why I think Remote help might not be a great success. From security standpoint I get it, from user friendliness standpoint it is terrible. Currently there is no option given to bypass/configure the enforced sign out unless the shared e.g. end user already has local administrator rights. Majority of organizations I'm helping to modernize their devices and device management have decided to enroll devices with Autopilot based on standard user, not administrator. As you can image, an other tool might be chosen (mostly Teamviewer).
