Re: Tip 3: Free up disk space with Intune Remediations and Storage Sense
There are several partitions where sufficient free space is required for installation to succeed (I have been fighting with for months):
- System Reserved partition (commonly cited minimum is 15 MB, though I haven’t found official confirmation in Microsoft documentation)
- OS partition (similar, I have not seen the exact number in the documentation)
- Windows Recovery partition (the size of the partition itself)
Instead of all of us admins creating their own remediation scripts for cleaning (system reserved or OS) or resizing these partitions (WinRE), will Microsoft provide recommended, ready-to-use remediation scripts?
