This enhancement simplifies the connection setup process, as users no longer need to configure multiple connections for each endpoint. Instead, makers can specify different endpoints by providing a relative path in the connector’s action. This streamlined approach saves time and reduces potential errors by centralizing endpoint management within a single connection, empowering app makers to work more efficiently and effectively when integrating SAP data into their Power Platform solutions.
OData Connector Base URISingle sign-on authentication for accessing SAP SuccessFactors
The Power Platform OData connector for SAP supports basic, anonymous, and application programming interface (API) key authentication. It also supports single sign-on available through Microsoft Azure API Management, which is available in public preview. With the expanded single sign-on authentication support for the OData connector, organizations can benefit from low-code development while maintaining the protection and compliance of their SAP environments.

This innovative authentication type enables users to interact with SAP SuccessFactors data within Power Platform applications more efficiently, simplifying the experience with streamlined access. With principal propagation, this method facilitates single sign-on (SSO) between Microsoft Entra ID and SAP SuccessFactors, so users can access SAP SuccessFactors data without having to provide their SAP username and password. This is particularly valuable in environments where multiple SAP applications are in use, as it eliminates redundant login requirements and enhances the user experience.
