Use the Likert, a new survey question type in Microsoft Forms

If you want to gauge your customers’ overall sentiment around a particular item or experience, you can create questions that capture responses on a scale. Also known as a Likert, you may, for example, create a question that asks students whether they agree with a statement or respondents to evaluate a product.

 

In Microsoft Forms, click on the "…" menu of the question bar to access Likert questions.

 

You can define scaling options as columns and question statements as rows.

 

On mobile devices, Likert questions will be grouped together. You can auto collapse and expand each question.

 

On the summary page, charts provide a breakdown of customer feedback for each question.

    I had same problem with likert scale in forms. I've made workaround in a different way. I used normal question with list of answers with linguistic forms for every likert scale point, and made as many questions as rows in likert form questions. Then I've made sections for every likert like question. Hope it will help.

    Hi, Can someone explain how to limit one response per option (Column) in Likert, For example, in the below picture, I want the user to make ONLY one selection per Option choice? Thank you.

    Hi!

     

    I hope this thread is still active. i noticed many people have question regarding additions of rows, my problem on the other hand is addition of columns. Is there any way to add up to 9 columns? Thanks

    Hi, 

     

    I was wondering if it is possible to withdraw your answer in the form?

    I am using Likert to select a quantity for an order and I was wondering if the person can go back if they click in the wrong place.

    Hi,

    It is possible to change the order of the lines in Likert, just as we can do when using the Option?

    Hi,

     

    I'm using Forms for CSAT and I was wondering if there's an if-then logic for the likert, (ex. if likert is answered disagree, then next question shall be required).

     

    and also can I set the date automatic to when the response is submitted?

    Buen día!

    Tengo intención de realizar una encuesta en donde tenga algunas preguntas con un formato similar al Likerit pero que en lugar de solo seleccionar una columna para cada fila, se pueda hacer algo como lo siguiente:

     

    Que las columnas sean nombres de personas a evaluar, las filas sean las características a evaluar por cada persona de las columnas y la intersección de cada fila con cada columna, se pueda seleccionar de una lista desplegable la calificación correspondiente. Algo similar a lo siguiente:

     

     

    Esta característica se denomina Matriz de menús desplegables en una plataforma llamada Survey Monkey. Pero nuestra intención es hacer uso de nuestra licencia de Forms.
