Here's a potential easy alternative that also gives you a much more robust way of checking timestamps... record the Form submissions into an Excel Spreadsheet or Microsoft List, that only teachers can access. That way any teacher can quickly check to see any students that are excused from class in real-time, not depending on students not closing the Forms window, not having a phone with them, a student modifying the html code of the page to display whatever time they want you to see, etc...
You could take it further, clear this Excel Spreadsheet at the end of each day / week automatically, generating an email to the student confirming the details and time, notifying a "Classroom movements" Teams Channel, creating an approval process, etc., etc... all very easy and quick to do.
But for the purposes of a simple Excel Spreadsheet...

FYI, because I've shared this Excel Spreadsheet in a public forum as read only, download blocked, etc., it won't update in real-time, so hit refresh after you submit the Form. But when you're accessing the Excel Spreadsheet in your own 365 tenancy, it's updated in real-time.
