I notice that I no longer have to open the excel sheet online for new responses to be added to the sheet!
Instead, I can open the Excel sheet using the Desktop Excel App and it automatically shows new responses as they are submitted! ⚡
I have not tested this extensively, but a few quick tests suggest that if I leave the Desktop app running, it automatically receives new responses, and these new responses can be seen in Excel on Android as they come in !
(If I close the Excel Desktop App, new responses do not appear in the Excel Android App, even if I close and reopen the Excel Android App, but if I leave the Excel Desktop App open and running, new responses quickly appear in the Excel Android App.)
Microsoft: This is a good step forward, but it should be possible to simply open the excel sheet on Android (or iOS) and have it show the latest responses without having the sheet open on the Desktop App. Keep going and soon we will be back to where we were 12 months ago 🙃
