Over the past 3 months I have had to reinstall all my passwords from Firefox into Edge every week. It has nothing to do with my settings. All the passwords are in Credential Manager but Edge seems to lose connection to them. Chrome and Firefox work fine. Edge is becoming very unreliable. There are many similar complaints on the internet. I am an IT/coder and do know what I am doing but cannot find a fix. I prefer Edge but will be moving to Firefox if Microsoft does not fix it soon.
If you coder and didn't find a solution I been searching here & there for one seems like I should give up, I'm Kinda having same issue after reinstalling fresh os The Edge didn't resume my profile Data where I left it, so started as a new set profile and happen the sync was on So it Automatically saved my information Over the previous one and overwrite it so lost all my previous data stored in the server like password auto fill, bookmark It happened when Microsoft did the changes on wallet I guess that made it worse,
However prior this issue, I got copy of data All of it "C:\Users\userID\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Edge" but was only able to import few bookmark And very few auto fill seems like the data are encrypted and I'm not going to use 3rd parties' tools to decrypt those barely trust Microsoft Specially after what I experience from these changes made on wallet recently lol,Microsoft's failure to address the issue suggests they Do Not Care.
