While the migration feature appears to be a valuable addition, it currently offers assessment options only for database migrations targeting on-premises SQL Server 2019/2022, excluding Azure SQL PaaS options such as Managed Instances. Is this limitation intentional by design? At present, Azure Data Studio with the Migration extension still appears to be the only available tool for assessing SQL Server migrations from on-premises to Azure.
