Sorry, yeah, I meant to say Ipad Air. Yes, I agree it is a luxury item and for some people, dedicated graphics is a deal breaker.
But they are a big seller, so there must be a lot of people (including myself) who value the multi-use case and versatility even without the dedicated graphics capability. You would need a Surface Laptop Studio for that. But, I didn't want to lose the flexibility of the SP8, which I didn't think the SLS could provide. I also bought the 16gb RAM and 256gb SSD, i7. Fast enough for me, and most of my files are stored in the cloud these days. I understand it is not so easy if you are processing big video or photo files.
I personally think, the Windows machines are every bit as good as the Apple product. When you compare the SPro line to other PC laptops there are few that can compete IMO. Expensive, yes but for those who buy them, price is not the most important factor.
