Agreed. I use it for online teaching and I find it to be a very helpful tool in communicating complex topics. Some of the changes have been tough, though. One that really made life more difficult is the less options for pens. We used to have five. Now we have three. I never use the highlighter and I find the laser pointer wholly unnecessary. Being able to switch them to more "pens" would be a good feature.
Also, we lost the ability to change the "thickness" of eraser. I sometimes need to do some very fine erasing and I no longer can.
Lastly, keeping the pen bar locked to the top middle forces me to work around it when illustrating. Not sure why the design choice didn't just anchor it to the left side under the vertical toolbar, tucked nicely out of the way. I know you can hide it, but I frequently need to change colors during illustrations so it's such a pain to have to hide it and reopen it.
Overall I find whiteboard to be incredibly useful, but the latest round of changes along with some initial design "flaws" make it less than ideal.
