They released this “new, improved“ dysfunctional version back in November and people hated it so much that they reverted to the previous version.
Now they’ve done it again, and it’s still just as bad as it was the first time.
There used to be instructions in this thread for how to find and install the previous good version of the whiteboard app. But recently the administrators have decided to delete any such instructions. They seem to be determined to do this to us.
If you can hunt down the instructions someplace, you can get back to the original version. I did. Once you get back to the good version, you need to disable automatic updates in the Microsoft Store to keep them from doing this to you again and again and again.
