MicrosoftMark_C_E14 thank you for your response. When I open the old Windows 10 desktop whiteboard application that has been available for the last couple of years your suggestion works just fine. When using the new Microsoft Whiteboard app via a browser (whiteboard.office.com) that has only been available for the last few months when I try this it does not work. I can use the lasso tool to select some content on the whiteboard and the click the copy button and paste it somewhere else on the same whiteboard but when I do lasso tool > copy > new whiteboard > paste nothing appears. I can even go back to the whiteboard where I copied the content and I can still paste it someone else in the same whiteboard. So the content is in the clipboard memory. Any other ideas?
