MicrosoftI am very happy I got my old Whiteboard back. 🙂 I don't know what is your next plan but I hope you ask the users first what features they would want to see to improve the app and what should be kept. What I saw you did was with your goal to integrate the web and the tablet version of the app to the windows version, you made the windows version follow the web and tablet app. In my opinion, it should be the other way around. It should have been the web version and the tablet version follow the design and the features of the Windows/Desktop app because it is(at least for me) the more advanced. The added features of the new version are really good but don't totally change the app for what it truly is-it is a "whiteboard" that replaces the physical board in the classroom/meeting room.
