MicrosoftThe new version of MS Whiteboard is just pretty facelift, but far behind previous version with usability.
So many essentials features are gone:
1) Note grid - there is no possibility to move the sticky note out of the grid (or in or move it between two grids).
2) Reactions - more type of reactions is fine, but how can I now easily gather/count reactions for the sticky note (or plain text) from whole team? Or how to sort items by likes??
3) Insert image - only from file and no drag and drop or paste from clipboard!?!
4) Inking tools - less pens, the new eraser is the step backward and missing ruler is just wrong (consider tablets without keyboard)
5) Text selection - selecting the editing text with Shift and cursor keys is impossible
6) Task list - I really miss the task list, it was so helpful
7) Background - why the white background is not white?
😎 Some other issues - SVG export, clear canvas, performance when opening/zooming
To be fair... I like the new design, ink arrows, objects alignment, Bring to Front and Send to Back features.
