So, all these new features and you've eliminated some of the best ones. I (used to) use Whiteboard extensively when I teach online (computer networking). It was incredibly useful for me to have 5 various color pens that were easily accessible. Now there's 3. I understand that I can change their color at will, but it breaks the flow of lecture while I fiddle with changing pen colors. Further, the eraser had a hover-over option to clear the entire workspace. That seems gone. Also, I cant change the size of it any longer? Sometimes I need to erase fine details, sometimes large sections of my drawings.
Copy/paste is gone? I used to screen shot hex-dumps and other graphics and paste it into Whiteboard. I can no longer do that. In fact, I used to copy diagrams directly out of PowerPoint and paste them into Whiteboard. No more. Two MS products can no longer easily interact. Odd choice (and yes, I've tried right clicking -> copy, as well as ctrl-c/v). I now have to screen shot, paste into another application, save it as a file, then import that file into Whiteboard. More unnecessary steps that break the flow.
When I use the "lasso" to collect some of my drawing and move it, I used to be able to select it with the lasso, then move it with my stylus. Now the stylus wont move it, it just re-highlights it. I have to lasso it and then use the mouse to move it. Another step, another broken flow.
I suppose I'll play with it a bit and try to figure out the idiosyncrasies of this new version, but why take away what made Whiteboard so useful in order to add all the other bells and whistles?
