MicrosoftThere is an open source alternative worth considering -- joplin. I am probably going to switch over to it since Microsoft is not listening on the local data front, at least -- much less the many, many features that are being left out of the dumbed down app, and then expecting users to "vote" for each one. This is, as usual, a totally incompetent decision by Microsoft -- snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.
William Devereux -- you really need to go back to your manager and tell them to fix this situation. I know you aren't listening any more, as this is what most folks at big companies do when they meet resistance. But you really need to listen to this -- you are abandoning an entire community you are going to count on to buy products in the future. Once that community is gone, it's gone. People will remember being abandoned in this way for many years to come.
