This is the most disappointing news of 2018. OneNote is the lifeblood of productivity for individuals, households, teams, departments and businesses both online and offline. The Windows 10 App has been inferior for sometime. Microsoft really needs to think about what their customers need and want before making a decision like this. My wife and I used OneNote to stay organized while building our home. Had we not used OneNote for that year long effort there is no way in the world we could have stayed on top of everything. OneNote is the savior of organizing chaotic data into a full text searchable index of peoples lives both personal and business. I have dozens of Notebooks that I refer to on a daily basis. To rip and replace with something inferior is world changing and dare I say people's lives, relationships and well being are at stake with this decision. More people less organized = more stressed and leads to more chaos and life changing events. Hopefully Microsoft will see the light and make a correction with their decision (which appears to have been made in a vacuum - cause this sucks). With all of the core users against this decision it makes you wonder what user base are they targeting with this decision.
