Eric Pellegrinidude you have got some kinda attitude on you. I am a Microsoft Silver CSP partner. I provide direct end user support to over 100 small businesses. I am a programmer. I am a CEO. I am a tech support person. I interact directly with my clients to provide the RIGHT solution. Not the one that makes the most money but the one that helps them maintain and grow their business safely and securely. I also provide support services for on-site servers as well as Azure support and Office365 support. I have almost 1000 mailboxes under management and am an advisor on almost 1500 mailboxes. I recommend solutions for my clients that are Optimal, Stable and Secure (thus the name of my company - OS Cubed (Optimal Stable Secure Solutions) and most importantly COST EFFECTIVE. I have been selling and supporting IT solutions since the first Apple 2's were on the market.
Instead of insulting me you might try actually listening to someone who represents the views and requirements of literally thousands of small to medium business users across multiple industries such as health care, manufacturing, professional services, etc. If Microsoft IN GENERAL spent more time LISTENING to users instead of randomly imposing their will on users AND PARTNERS they might be able to be both more successful AND have the general approval of the community they're trying to sell to. They might see LESS of a flight to platforms such as Linux LAMP, Google Docs, and other areas.
