Today we begin rolling out support for Microsoft 365 Groups within the Cloud Policy service, allowing administrators the ability to target these groups for policy delivery.

Stay tuned as we plan to make additional enhancements to group support such as targeting all users on the tenant without having to manage any groups.

chhopkin  I know this is an old post but on a related note, can groups be added to target devices rather than users? The table header says "Number of users/devices", but the "Select the scope" option only says user. The documentation only mentions users. So, the UI makes it a bit ambiguous about whether devices can be targeted. Can the UI be clarified in this respect? Either change the scope option text to read "applies to users and devices in the specified group" if device groups are supported, or change the "Number of users/devices" column header to "Number of users" if device groups are not supported.

  • __trj the service only targets users.  We will look into changing that string in the UX.
