Dear Mark-Kashman -- I have been also - motivated by you - rolling out Lists into the organisation but I need to make a few observations:
- Deep productive use would mean Lists live long and are therefore very capable to re-use existing data. Yet the lookup feature remains a stud. No Choise, No management meta-data available for lookup
- Meanwhile, the focus is on making templates more and more powerful without making it easy to actually share them. My admin needs to execute code and has no idea what is right and wrong and it resutls in deletion and re-submission etc.
- Overall, the Lists forum gets very little attention from MS employees. It seems the tool is - yet amazing - mostly developed so it works for MS staff.
For 2024 please focus on actual productivity and data interoperability. Thanks
Mark-Kashman- happy new year. --- I may record that it has been a year and little changed on the templates. It is still a mess. Meanwhile I had to experience that calculated formulas are not taken on and strange reference errors emerge.
Forms is amazing but does not really work with templates. Forms cannot be made available to Guests though they need it most (in our case).
Look, you spent billions a Copilot (no comment) - could your team be given a mill or two to properly finalise something which actually delivers productive value?
