With all the Microsoft different o365 license types and now their renaming, could someone list all the Microsoft Office 365 license types and which are confirmed working with RDS? Which support shared computer use?
If Office 365 E3 is installed on a Shared computer, would some logging in with Business Standard or Business Premium be able to login and successfully use the Office apps? The big issue for us isn't so much RDS, but a shared computer where different staff log in. We want that shared computer to have the installed office apps available to whomever logs in. Primarily just Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word and Power Point. Since all our license types include these apps on the local computer, I would expect this to work. My guess is it won't. So if that is the case, is the only answer to put everyone on the same most expensive license such as E3 where only maybe 5 out of our 30 people need that? It would increase our monthly cost a bunch just so different staff could use the common office apps on a shared computer.
