I agree completely that profile migrations to AzureAD ought to be a feature delivered by Microsoft.
But Microsoft has, long ago, decided not to update USMT (User State Migration Tool) so it can detect AzureAD user SID's.
I have now received numerous requests (hundreds) to try to make my USMTGUI tool do migrations to AzureAD, so I now have.
As USMT still doesn't support AzureAD, I have therefore built an ©AzureMigrationEngine and implemented it in USMTGUI.
You can migrate any profile on the same PC (Workgroup, Domain orAzureAD profile) directly to the new AzureAD profile including all settings.
You can also backup a Win 7, 8 8.1 or Win10 profile from any PC and restore it directly to the new AzureAD profile.
