MicrosoftBobClements is there any way (web, PS, email, phone call) to have this cloud policy service thingy disabled? I'm not sure how it got enabled (could've been me poking around), but I suspect it's a service/option reborn from another (I.e., I'm still trying to figure out how Intune got quasi-enabled in our tenant -- we don't subscribe to licenses that provide us with such features -- and the hot mess it's caused us with MDM).
Either way, I use GPO locally (found this registry entry named "ignoregpo" that's jacked up everything we do with the Microsoft Office settings) and have no immediate plans to change that (although the little "tease" that semi-annual enterprise channel is "coming soon" might!).
I've gone so far as to create and add to a "device" group and configured it so such devices are ignored, but I'm not convinced that'll do anything for the 10 devices we have reporting in on "current" channel (I want them back to semi-annual).
TL;DR
I don't want it enabled, I want it disabled. How?
