New minimum Outlook for Windows version requirements for Microsoft 365

Just checking ... Running Outlook 2010 until now without problem, I attempted to add a new email yesterday, (a MSN email address) and that crashed my Outlook, now I get the usual error dialog box and Outlook 2010 will not open. 

My question is this;  How do I now recover a functional Outlook 2010 (which used to work fine  managing non-microsoft email adresses) now that I cannot get Outlook 2010 to even open !

Will re-installing Outlook 2010 allow me to reconfigure it the way it was before, just managing non-microsoft email adresses ?? 

PS: my other Office 2010 apps stopped working a long time ago, without warning (when opening, apps says 'product wiyhout licence" , 'can only display or print' 'you must now use Office 365' and any way does not accept re-entering my original licence key ...!

NB: yes, I had bought the Office 2010 in 2010, with my own money, using a special discount for professors at the time. Can't do that anymore (my institution is not recognised by Microsoft anymore....)
