Just for the curious and what happens when some of the versions of these programs hit the "drop dead" date and/or when "all is not well". I had Office 2013 installed, but we could not find online a good "Key" to us because apparently Microsoft had now shutdown all "shared keys" for various programs. So, my computer guy and I decided to go with "MS Office Outlook 2021 Professional Plus" for roughly $170.00 via a legit seller (many credits to their account" via EBAY.
So, it's installed and I'm good for the next five years and the drama ends for me at least for now. BYW, I was able to use Office 2013 for 30days with no KEY, then they shut it down for receiving and sending emails. This aspect of not being able to "find" a shared available good KEY for that version and others appears to be a method of Microsoft to send us to the "paying line". Oh, also now that I have "2021" installed, my Mother Ship email program, Outlook.live.com now come with Ads galore in it on the right column. I never had this with older programs such as Office 2007. I can get rid of the Ads by paying a yearly fee or install their version of Outlook 365 for of course a fee. The heck with it, the Ads stays in the right-hand column, BUT it sure slows down Outlook.live.com if I go there for other reasons to manage emails.
It appears to me for sure Microsoft is now in a "collection agency" mode for all it's stuff out there. Things that look "free" come now with a "hook" to pay to play etc.
