1. My computer guy also mentioned a "Firebox" email program like Thunderbird, but on this one I'm not sure if I would have to change my email address, which I would not want to do. Maybe Thunderbird would also be set up to pull from Outlook.com with my "msn" address ???
2. I do use the Calendar at times. And my address book is quite lengthy, especially with some "group" contacts for reunions and such.
3. He also mentioned having Office 2007 still on board if we went to the "latest greatest" of 2013 or 2016.
4. My research also shows they offer for "home folks" like me Office 2021 at about $150 one time. Also, 365 at $84 per year at $7 a month, and/or a yearly fee of $70.
6. Speaking of browsers, my default is "Edge" and I use Google Chrome on occasion for hospital/medical contacts. I downloaded Firefox to have in reserve. I keep all three updated.
7. Thank you for your reply. At my age of nearly 80, I'm trying to keep the "rest of my life" very simple.
