(C&P from the older September post, as I didn't realize there is a more recent one. Apologies!)
Feedback from a German secondary school using digital blackboards:
Not being able to move the pen selector menu from the top of the Whiteboard back to the bottom is a serious problem for smaller teaching staff as well as younger students - not even speaking of people with disabilities. This fixed position necessitates constantly moving the digital blackboard up and down, even for a taller person like myself at 1.85m. We have had to retighten the run on one board that wouldn't stay raised and I expect this problem to increase dramatically with your redesign.
On my PC at home and the Surface Go 2s provided by our school, I honestly enjoy the new more minimalist and spread-out toolbar layout, but for digital boards, having all necessary tool icons in one place at the bottom of the Whiteboard was the appropriate design choice.
