KB50031378 automatically installed on my new Windows 10 Home Dell Build 19042 computer. It completely broke Google Chrome in so many ways. First, Microsoft Outlook email hyperlinks stopped working. You clicked on them and nothing happened. I worked for 3 days trying a variety of fixes. Nothing worked.
Then I noticed Chrome stopped launching. It would launch only once after resetting the user data and then never launch again. It would, however, always launch if you right-clicked and ran it in Incognito mode. Again, I worked 3 days trying a variety of fixes and nothing worked.
I uninstalled KB50031378, and everything started working again. This update made it impossible to use Chrome. After this update, Outlook worked fine opening emails with hyperlinks with Edge. Edge worked fine. Chrome just died. Something is very wrong with this update if it is killing Chrome.
