This is a nice improvement over the manual workflow, but there are a couple of things it does not do that should be considered.
The First as mentioned by several is the Exporting of the PST to a backup server, this process is a royal pain and every time you turn around MS is jacking with it and making it harder yet. Some organizations have unlimited retention for whatever reasons and we HAVE to back up PST locally and Archive it.
Second, this does not cover mobile device data removal. Part of my work flow is going in and making sure our data is removed from all mobile/remote devices this user has accessed Office 365 with. This obviously has to be done Prior to removing the licensing.
