@Mark Dickson @Brian Besand We have a hybrid setup, but I also have access to the O365 Admin portal so not sure if that is a limitation for you but what we do is go ahead and disable/cleanup in AD. Once things sync and the user is showing deleted in O365 we restore the user as a cloud only user and then you will be able to follow the steps above. We were basically doing what this workflow does but this will certainly help reduce the number of clicks to get it done. The only issues I have seen with the new workflow is since it is synced with AD, the OneDrive is already given access to their manager, so you can't assign it another user in the workflow even after they are a cloud only user. The other issue, which has been an issue since the beginning for us, is when you disable the account in AD and then restore as a cloud only , for some reason the sync process will delete the user again even after it has been configured a shared account. Only way around that I have found is either run the sync process a couple times manually or let the user sit for a bit as a deleted user before restoring as a cloud only account. Maybe @Brian Besand can share that with his team/developers. It's certainly a step in the right direction as it does cut back on the number of clicks and time to do it, but still need some tweaking for hybrid users.
