I realize change is inevitable but what do ya bet this one was not vetted with ACTUAL users of the tool? There are sooooooo many other things to put your energy and resources towards with OneNote.
Like other commenters - NO ONE LIKES THE SEARCH BAR MOVE!!! It is awful and covers the page where I'm searching 🤦♀️. The arrows appear to be an after thought - I tried them but they remove all the tool bars etc - just dumb.
If ya need something to do with your time, how about you fix the interface between desktop and the mobile app?
If I create a page using the OneNote iPhone app, when I view the page using the desktop version of OneNote, the page title is offset so far to the left and the top that the page's horizontal and vertical scrollbars appear even if there is no text on the page.
I cannot get the scroll bars to disappear.
If I try to slide or move the scrollbars, they immediately go back to where they were.
Here is a link to a video I made showing the problem: https://youtu.be/Mqfxs17hgVo?si=rof6Vgdcfj2OxOnm
The only way to resolve this is once I'm back at my desktop, I create a new page and copy & paste text into it (created on desktop) - that is the only way to get the page to work effectively on the desktop. Notes should be able to be created from any device and they should look/work the same. Ugh Microsoft you can do better.
