Hi Jeremy, I have been reading the Q&A section and I think some of your answers do not make sense:
- Exchange Server SE requires SA. MCA and SPLA do not have SA in their program. So unless SA as a requirement will be dropped by Microsoft, this product cannot be sold thru the MCA (read CSP) and/or SPLA program.
- Exchange Server SE is not in the SPUR. Which is logical, given point 1. If a product is not in the SPUR it will not be released in the SPLA pricelist. So any claim that this will become available in the SPLA pricelist, is incorrect.
- Microsoft needs to re-address the SA requirement, otherwise it will not be sold thru mentioned channels. I surely hope the responsible people within Microsoft for introducing Exchange Server SE to the partner channel will correct this situation very, very soon. Kind regards, Jap Verburg
