I have to say, when I've heard this for the first time, I was genuinely excited. Python is coming to an Excel! I will finally be actually able to debug my macros! I will have stack trace... so I won't have to stuggle with 'Application-defined or object-defined error' exceptions so much anymore!
..and then I have got to the point where you talk about formulas and the cloud and everything.
Microsoft, why??? Why, if you openly said that you won't develop VBA Editor anymore, you don't want to replace it with something which actually allows to debug code? Why we have to waste precious hours, if not days when we encounter such awful exceptions like this Application defined or object-defined error, crashing whole script without saying even in which line it occured? Microsoft, why why why???
