MicrosoftHave you guys ever heard of the notion ‘if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it’? I know only a small percentage of Word users are editing professionals, but WE are the ones using comments. I have turned off ALL Microsoft updates to avoid this ‘improvement’. PLEASE listen to professional users of Word and just stop this farce. It’s like you are trying to compete with Google Docs or Pages and NO professional editor wants to work in those applications as they don’t have the functionality we need. Frankly, I refuse to work in anything except Word and won’t work with books exported from such applications into a Word format, there are just too many issues caused by the conversion. If you want Word to remain the industry standard then please give up on preserving with Modern Comments. It’s only for amateurs.
