RCombes, I join Pamela-1 in thanking you for your hard work; I'm impressed by your skill level! Ths all does, however, raise the question: if you have to write your own macros and the like, what are we paying Microsoft for? Even if we have a "free" account or access courtesy of our employer, they're still getting paid -- and for what? Should the EU take them on again?
And apropos of employers: many schools now offer students and employees MS Office access; I can't even begin to explain how much harder providing feedback to students has become with these "new and improved" Comments (see my rants, earlier this year).
And I really love <not!> how, when I had the temerity to try to "like" someone's post when I accessed this blog today. I got a scary "Authentication failed" message; why not just prompt me to log in? When I finally figured out that this was the issue, I saw some "We're trying to log you in" nonsense; how hard is it, seriously? NOw, it keeps asking me to complete some dumb survey. Have you ever noticed how, the more a firm asks for your feedback, the less they actually care?
