MicrosoftRCombes it looks like I've figured it out. Putting a button on the toolbar would be good, but I hesitate to ask for chocolate sauce on the ice cream. I'll be satisfied with the plain scoop for now. I'm simply going to 'view' 'macros' and clicking 'run'.
It's renaming my document, though. Something like 'combined ... " Dunno. I've created a save as copy and will proceed to work hoping it doesn't all go pear-shaped. If it does, I'll not ruin anything.
Thanks to you and to PeterL64 and, well, everyone. We've not made an impression on Microsoft, they still don't give a sh**, but we've created a kind of safe harbor and community. Does anyone know how the petition is going?
