MicrosoftKatie Sullivan After being forced to use Modern Comments for over a month now on numerous documents, I've experienced it thoroughly. And, I must be honest... it's MUCH worse than I thought it was when I first started using it.
There is NOTHING good about it. Nothing. It sucks. It's sapping people's productivity. It's hurting client relations. It makes editing a document a nightmare. Why in the world would you make it so that the comments don't line up with the text? It's just problem after problem. I'd rather use a typewriter and a red pen than Modern Comments.
I stopped what I was doing to come here and write this.
Please, please, please, tell the powers-at-be how awful this abomination of an idea is and have them revert it or at least give people the option to turn it off.
And by the way, I do use Word collaboratively at work. NOBODY likes this!
