Scheduling bugs aside what I can say is that servicing Office 365 Updates through the CDN has massively (i hate to say it) "flattened the curve" of legacy instances within our enterprise. I cannot fault the reliability of the upgrade mechanism itself it does exactly what it should.
Another plus has been the lack of negative feedback from our businesses regarding the user experience. It is a great improvement over the old SCCM notifications, and I love the fact that most don't even see the notification as it's updated seamlessly 
If we could see a high-level log file containing key status points that would be awesome to. The logs at the moment contain way too much "noise" and are a headache for techies to scroll through. If this and the throttle bypass can be sorted then I would be one happy customer!
