Useful to read, but seems out of date already. Depending on where I deploy the resources from, I get different options. Lets say from the AI Foundry portal. When I select 'Create New' I get two options 'Azure AI Foundry Resource' and 'AI Hub Resource'. This is even more opaque if deploying from the Azure portal.
Hubs seem to have more features, especially around collaboration and centralised control, which would seem to me to make this the obvious choice. But then when you log in to the AI foundry portal, it states 'Azure AI Foundry Resource' is recommended over 'AI Hub'.. Why is it recommended? Other than a telling sentence that I did find "New agents and model-centric capabilities are only available on Azure AI Foundry projects". But then another sentence states "Use a hub-based project when you need features that aren't available in a Azure AI Foundry project".. Seems pretty short-sighted and restrictive (and confusing when deciding which way to go).
What if you want the collaboration and centralised control benefits of a Hub based deployment, but don't want to miss out on new capabilities?
Thanks
